About my Dispatches

I'm an observer, but not a traditional one.

I don't just write from the outside looking in.

I write from the inside, turning the outside world over and over in my hands, questioning it, interrogating it, exploring it.

Dispatches from an Untamed Mind is my field journal. My musings, thoughts, and reflections on how the world collides with the strange, wild interior of late-diagnosed life.

A world I don't always feel I fit into, but one I'm a part of nonetheless.

Each post is a transmission, a sketch, a signal sent from the dense, beautiful, bewildering terrain where outside and inside meet.

If you're here, maybe you're wandering your own wild terrain, trying to make sense of the noise and the hustle.

Maybe you're curious what it's like to step off the map and see the world through different eyes.

Maybe you're wondering what you might be missing.

Or maybe you're just passing through. Perhaps you're on your own journey, and this is just a stop along the way.

Whatever brought you here, you're welcome to stay by the fire as long as you like.
We're all just travelers on the road to some destination.

Take up a seat. We've got a spot for you as long as you want it.

Why Become a Member?

Membership here isn't about unlocking "premium content." It's about stepping a little closer to the campfire.

  • Members can comment to share reflections, ask questions, or seek to understand.
  • Members will sometimes get dispatches that don't make it to the open world. These will be more raw notes and quieter explorations. I have no idea what these will look like or how often they'll come along.

If you want to walk a little further with me into the unknown, consider becoming a member. It's free, it's simple, and it helps me know the signals aren't just vanishing into the dark.

Thanks for being here.
